What does KASAI and TEPPANYAKI mean?
KASAI means “FIRE”
KASAI means “FIRE” in Japanese and to those familiar with Kasai, it means a new beginning. It’s a new spark of fire to Kelowna and the Okanagan dining experience.
TEPPANYAKI- teppan-yaki is a postworld war ll style of Japanese cuisine that uses an iron griddle toc ook food. The word teppanyaki is derived from Teppan, the metal plate which it is cooked on and Yaki, which means grilled, boiled or pan-fried.
KASAI- will not only bring the visual enjoyment, but also the skill of teppanyaki chefs combining the finest ingredients to a Teppanyaki table. Ingredients such as Wagyu beef, boneless chicken breast, Australian lobsters, jumble prawn, scallops and freshgarden vegetable.
